Upper Coomera State College was established in 2003. UCSC
was built in response to the growing population in a “growth corridor”
stretching from Oxenford to Ormeau. The College was designed to cater
for P-12, with students enrolled from Preschool to Year 8 in its
inaugural year.
The College is situated on the western side of the M1 (motorway) which
links the Gold Coast to Brisbane. Upper Coomera State is situated on
one campus, encompassing 3 subschools: Chisholm Junior School (P-6),
Jakaara Middle School (Yrs 7-9) and Fensham Senior School (Yrs 10-12).
UCSC is governed by a catchment boundary (for more information see the
enrolment section on our website). Coomera State School, Oxenford State
School, Pimpama SS, and, Coomera Springs SS are feeder schools to UCSC
for secondary purposes. Again secondary enrolment is governed by the
catchment boundary (please see enrolment section on website or call
