Year 7 to 12

We are very proud of the variety of curriculum offerings secondary students at Upper Coomera State College are exposed to. Students are learning about subjects that will prepare them to undertake varying roles they will have in their lives as they travel their learning pathway to the future. At Upper Coomera State College we offer subjects that cater for a range of student interests and pathways - both academic and vocational.

Students in Years 7 - 10 are following the Australian Curriculum for English, Maths, Science and History. Subjects delivered in other areas where an Australian Curriculum does not yet exist are following syllabi developed by the Queensland Studies Authority. Some Years 10 - 12 subjects also involve students working towards achieving a nationally recognised vocational qualification.

Students in the secondary school at Upper Coomera State College are able to make certain choices around the subjects they study depending on the year level they are enrolled in. Please note that Year 7 students are not required to make subject selections as they study a set core curriculum.
